This is a literacy project to teach 500 young people above 17 years and adults o read and write in courses during 9 months. Brazil still has approx. 30 % of illiterates who do not have access to adult education. It is a very moving experience to accompany the students and to see the results at the end of the courses, especially the impact on their self-esteem. |
