Society for Environment and health Awareness in Rural Areas [SEHARA] is a social based, non-for-profit, non-religious and non-governmental organization started its preliminary work from the villagers of Nagarparkar to form cooperative societies in 2007. with the passage of time; organization has started to work on other development sectors for the (1) down trodden, marginalized and vulnerable people, (2) situation and measured the severity of the problems through baseline survey. In the light of the situation SEHARA has started its activities and tried to directly address the identified issues. SEHARA launched a comprehensive advocacy and awareness program in the community and has also delivered services in health, education, social mobilization, saving and credit, grass root level institutional management, sustainable land use. (3) Presently SEHARA has its head office in Hyderabad and has recently established two field offices at Khipro and Nagarparkar. SEHARA believe in participatory approach and always welcomes to the advices and recommendations. We have a formal management and advisory committee for decision and policy making. The honorable members have vast experience in the field of community’ socio-economic development. SEHARA always encourage to dedicated and committed staff and with the grace of God all of the volunteers and paid staff is delivering remarkable services to the community. (4) and also manage all challenges, which community is facing in general.

Situation of Floods

Several homes have demages due to Flood of Pakistan,affected people have been living in the camps which setup in their nearby or some camps are setup in the far-flung areas. Communities are taking initiatives themselves for their survival, numerous efforts are being done by them, they are helping to each other but they do not have any food items to share others due to this waiting for the relief.

SEHARA will elect the volunteer from the affected village and will form Relief Committee (RC) and it is quite hoped that or project will certainly implement as we are expecting. SEHARA will distribute food items such as flour, Oil, Rice, Dal and Water.
