Floods Relief in Pakistan

Through this project RC Farooqabad will provide solar energy lights in the flood areas in Punjab, Pakistan. Pakistan is facing a lot of problems due to floods in its huge area. The floods survivors have become homeless and helpless. Members of the Rotary Club of Farooqabad have visited such areas and have donated items like medicines, food, tents, Electric Generators etc. The visited Rotarians conducted a survey for need assessment of flood survivors and observed the situation closely. To meet needs of the flood affected people, This project will provide lights in dark houses and will be a source of hope and light of life in the lives of flood victims. About 500 people will be benefited through this project. It has been approved by all members that this project should be launched through Matching Grant Project.
