Solar Water Heater to Hospital

$11,510

Solar water heaters to Government owned hospitals: Our Club situated in Aroor in Alleppey district of Kerala, India. Alleppey is a backward district and of course Aroor Is also backward area. The population strength in Aroor is very high. Most of people are below poverty line. Nearly ten government owned hospitals in and around Aroor and is in very pathetic condition. They do not have boilers for boiling water, all they depend on a water heater with very low capacity and always not working properly. In our area Electrical failure is common. When the electricity fails the need of hot water can not be fulfilled. Some times the electricity comes back after a day or like that. If we install a solar heater of 200 lit capacity having a maximum temperature of 80°C will do a lot to the poor patients in our area. The solar water heater could provide hot water round the clock and it is maintenance free. The estimated cost of the project comes as under.

The price of one 200 lit solar water heater comes to around Rs.52950.00 We have selected ten hospitals which are in urgent need of Water Heater. So the total cost comes to Rs.529500.00.00. Our club members will contribute 10% of the total cost which comes to Rs.52950.00.

So we need a matching grant of Rs.476550.00 (It comes USD.10359.00). If you need any more clarifications, please write to us. Our email id is rcaroor@gmail.com
