For Phranakhon Sri Ayutthaya Hospital in Thailand, respiratory effected illness is one of the major health problems, in 2009, there were 443 cases per thousand populations. In addition, there are several chronic diseases which affect the respiratory system and require giving oxygen also; there are several patients who need respirators. In the critical situations, caring by giving oxygen and respirator in time can reduce brain damage and save patient’s life.
Today the respirators have been developed with focus on safety, patient’s comfort and conveniences for health care personnel however; the hospital can not afford to provide respirators for all beds due to the limited budget and high prices for good quality respirators which results in the inconvenience of the health care personnel in the RCU. (Respirator Care Unit)

RCU of Phranakhon Sri Ayutthaya Hospital in Thailand would like to ask for kind support from a merit ROTARY CLUB for additional Hi-Technology respirator so that the department will be able to provide effective help in saving life of critical patients who can not breathe sufficiently on their own or cease to breath.
