2. Background: SKS Hospital is a fully functional charitable Hosptial and already has a Dialysis centre with 14 machines which is under the supervision of eminent Consultant Nephrologists. High quality Dialysis is provided at a rate of USD 13 per dialysis including all consumables and charges as normal charge of USD 25. On an average 25 dialysis are provided every day. Those who cannot pay even the above subsidized charges are treated free with help of donors.
The hospital has already allocated separate space for these additional machines in their existing building
Sri Krishna Sevashram Hospital, has completed 48 years of dedicated service in the field of medical service to the common man and poor and needy people. Sevashrama was started in 1962 as an out-patient department in a small room, and had now grown to 70 bedded hospital with human touch in a site generously sanctioned by BDA, providing quality medical care at affordable rates and free treatment to poor without distinction of caste, creed or religion. Last year the hospital had treated over One hundred twenty thousand patients and aimed to reach 200,000 this year. |
