 The Project is envisaged to empower the Youth of a rural area in the District of Kottayam in Kerala, India. The area has a rudimentary library with its own building. The amenities available does not meet the need of the youth in the area. There are no other libraries of merit in the vicinity. The project is to provide them with an up to date Library, establish a computer centre with 4 computers and peripherals to impart computer training for the youth who are poor to own their own Computer. In addition, furniture and standby generating set are also needed.
Since a building with power connection is available, the project can be completed within six months from the time of allotment of funds. |

Building and power connection for the Library and Computer Centre are readily available and the Project can be implemented in this Rotary year itself, once the fund become available. This Project will empower the Youth of remote villages of Kottayam District.
