Mini Vans for Special School

This is for purchasing three mini vans for Chaithanya Special School,Kunnamkulam for mentally fchallenged children.There are at present 26 children in this school coming from various directions of the town ,some have to travel more than 15 km to reach school. If one big van is employed the child first entering the van will have to sit for more than 2 hours because this van will have to travel for than 60 km enroute taking the other students.So it will be better if three vans are sent in different directions to collect the students and drop them back at their houses.The school is imparting education to the sttudents free of cost,depending mailnly on donations from public and by the membership fee collected from the members of this charitable society.The society finds it very difficult to pull on the day to day expence,hence Rotary came forward to assist them for the purchase of vans.The salary fo the driver and Aaya, repairs and maintenance of the vans,etc. will be met jointly by the society and Rotary club of Kunnamkulam.
