Bore Hole in Kuyizhi

$25,000

This money will be used to provide portable water to the Kuyizhi community that has no clean water. Also, a six unit water cistern toilet will be provided for them. In the rainy season they have ponds from which they drink with animals. In the dry season the pond is reduced to almost nothing. The water is so bad that the city was once reported in the newspaper as a place where humans and animals drink from the same pond. They will be provided with a motorised borehole with an overhead tank and a six unit water cistern toilet. This community has no water cistern toilet at all. The inhabitants mostly defecate in the bush with its disease spreading capabilities.
