Road Police statistics show that in the city of Lome there were 72 deaths and 579 seriously wounded in 2003. Some of the causes are disrespect for the road safety code, drunk-driving, poor state of roads, and poor state of vehicle and poor maintenance.

This project is aimed at helping the training of road users through well targeted parnters, install 100 sign boards in the city of Lome, discourage high speed driving by building humpbacks where necessary, sensitize the population by audiovisual message.
