D-582    India - Jalandhar Mobile Dispensary $24,888 Multipurpose mobile dispensary cum ambulance.Many slum areas do not have a dispensary at walking distance and doctor patient ratio may be even more than 1 against 50000 persons. This dispensary will move from one slum to other providing OPD and dispencing medicines. From these areas the critical patients will also be promptly moved to specilised medicare centres to save many lives. Over a period of 1 year the figure of benefishries will be approx 1,00,000 slum dwellers. This Mobile dispensary cum ambulance will also be used as disaster relief van which can be used in case of Natural calmity like Earth Quake,Floods and some other disaster like train accident etc. The estimate time to complete the project will be within 60 days of receipt of grant.
