   Uganda - Kampala

Equipment for 3 Schools

$44,550

Support to the physically handicapped, visually impaired, orphans and abandoned children in Uganda, through the Nabagereka Foundation.

This project will provide some equipment to support 3 schools in Kampala: 1. The Kampala School for Physically Handicapped Children in Mengo, 2. The Saalama Children's Center for the Blind in Mukuno, 3. The St. Ponsiano Ngonwe Primary School in Mukuno.

The project budget will include:

$5,500 for supply of plumbing materials and, water tank and construction of water tank stand

$2,000 for dining hall tables and benches

$7,000 for vocational training equipment and new domitory furniture (Beds)

$6,000 for Braille typing machines

$1,000 for white canes

$7,000 for Braille books

$1,900 for double-decker beds

$9,000 to dig a borehole

$2,100 for text books

$3,000 for reading desks
