The project is to put up a road divider of about 600 mt in the main of Tirupur to Avinashi at Gandhinagar in district 3200. The host club is RC of Tirupur Gandhinagar. The divider(Median) in this main road is neccessary as the accidents in this stretch are increasing day by day. Our local administration does not seem to be bothered as they are crippled with finance. Hence our club has taken the initiative of putting up the divider so as to avoid the loss of valuable life every day. The population is around 6 lakh and it is growing day by day because of ample employment oppourtunity in our town. Though we have many industrialist in our town, the infrastructure is in a bad shape. Only we, rotarians are very much concerned about our community. This is the most essential and important project to help our people and thus the rotary image will be heightened. We request RI to consider our proposed project to fund for this public project. |
