Summary: Build 10 toilets in Ndori Secondary School in Sondu, Kisumu
Ndori Baptist Church Primary and Secondary schools are in the same compound and are known as Ndori B.C. Schools. Both schools were founded by Ndori Baptist Church, an affiliate to Independent Baptist Fellowship of East Africa (Reg.) with her headquarters at Thika Road Baptist Church in Nairobi. When the school grew bigger it was established in a central piece of land that was donated for the schools by the three neighboring clans that formed Ndori, the clans are Katieno, Komoro and Kadero. Ndori B.C. is in Kisumu County and is reachable from Sondu on Sigoti route, some 12 kilometers.
The villagers of Ndori have not been able to rehabilitate the eroded environment after the severe drought of the 1980's. Drought, cattle rustling and economic hardship had reduced livestock herd sizes, diminishing the main means of the Ndori residents to meet food and income needs. Drought frequently strikes this semi-arid district of Kenya, resulting in increased poverty, malnutrition and hunger. Destitution and rapid out-migration have become common in the district.
Through a GG, a borehole is done, a water Tower and the Solar pump. The next phase requires 4 toilets and wash stations @ $2000
