Project Description Country: USA Location: Kenai, Borough Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: Renovation Summary: In partnership with City of Kenai Parks, a set of new bleachers will be acquired for the softball park. In partnership with the City of Kenai Parks and Recreation the Kenai Rotary will purchase one set of replacement bleachers for park #3. The park is home to the Kenai High School Softball program and to the Kenai Softball Association. The original bleachers were purchased in the 1980's and are in need of replacing. I have met with Parks Director Bob Frates and received his agreement for the project. With shipping the costs will be about $4,000 dollars. The unit will be installed in the summer of 2017.
