As it is well known that Nepal is an underdeveloped country having the low literacy ratio. Most of the people in the rural area are less educated especially women. Due to this, they are far away from the proper medical facilities, job opportunities and many other things.
Taking into consideration those above mentioned problems, we the Rotary Club of Rupandehi are planning to do something in the health sectors so that women & children who are not getting the proper medical facilities can gain from that.
We the Rotary Club of Rupandehi in collaboration with Nepal Family Planning is planning to run community medical clinic targeted especially to women & children at Karahiya V.D.C Bhalwari. For this one storey four room building had already being built up from the local donation. If we can run the clinic in that building, we can provide the following facilities regarding the health to people around 5000 people.
a. Pregnancy test to women
b. Immunization/ Vaccination to the women.
c. Vaccination to the newly born baby.
d. Family planning facilities
e. Pubectomy/ Permanent Female Family planning.
f. And many other regular check up to women & child.
If this project run successfully in this rural area, the expected no. of patient per day are around 100.The targeted group of this project are poor & low class people.For this we have to hire medical personnel, fully set up clinic with latest medical equipment. For eg.USG Machine, ECG machine, Lab equipment etc.
