Royal Family Kids Camp is a week long camp for foster children, ages 6-12. The foster children who attend the camp are from the McCook, Ogallala, and Imperial area. This camp is held in Ogallala on June 12-16, 2017. The tuition for each camper is $250 which covers all expenses for the camp. The McCook Rotary club, with the assistance of District 5630, would like to support the tuition for 5 camper's, totaling $1,250.
The Royal Family Kids Camp mission is to create life-changing moments for children of abuse. Their values are to treat people royally, keep moving forward and make moments that matter to the lives of foster children. Their vision is to provide a life-changing camp and mentoring program to every foster child who attends. The foster children who attend the camp are wards of the state and it is the hope that this camp will assist foster children by securing positive growth and attachments in their lives to help them overcome neglect, abuse and poverty.
