Project Description Country: USA Location: Phoenix, AZ Total Budget: $8,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Phoenix The 88th Annual Phoenix Rotary 100 High School Speech Contest is to be held at Phoenix Country Club on April 13, 2018. Scholarships will be awarded as prizes to winning freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Students from the Phoenix metro area are invited to attend (47 students attended in 2107). Invitations will be sent out in September 2017. 35 Club members will be involved as judges, time keepers and organizers. The preliminary event is held the Monday before the finals at Phoenix Rotary 100's Friday meeting.
