Project Description Country: USA Location: Apache Junction, AZ Total Budget: $2,500 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Education: Scholarships Summary: Scholarships to Central Arizona College Our club believes in educating the local community of Apache Junction. By providing scholarships to select students, we are insuring they will further their education and return to the community to make this city of Apache Junction a better play to live. We have a committee review scholarship applications and we select 5 candidates to receive $500 scholarships to Central Arizona College. This grant will cover $2000 of the $2500 we have allocated to CAC junior college. 3 members of our club participate in this project by reviewing applications and presenting the scholarships at an award ceremony in the fall of 2017.
