Project Description Country: USA Location: Fort Worth Total Budget: $1,560 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: 6 FWISD 3rd graders will receive a new dictionary all schools located in Fort Worth, Tx Overall goal is to encourage students to read more - thus the need for a dictionary for better understanding of words. Project will be completed by the end of September 2017. Dictionaries are handed out at the beginning of the new semester. Club members will attach a label to each book that shows our club's name and the 4 Way Test - also allows a space for the students to place there name on their book.Project funds used to purchase the dictionaries with local club paying 1/2 of the cost and the Grant paying 1/2.
