Project Description Country: USA Location: Greeley CO Total Budget: $8,000 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Community economic development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Provide a covered pavillion area with solar lighting for the Poudre Learning Center. Greeley After Hours would like to provide a covered pavilion area at the PLC. Our club currently meets at the PLC and this is the area that our club has basically adopted as our area to maintain. This would be a covered picnic area with picnic tables located near the tower with the eagle on it. The total project would be about $8000 and our club would be supporting $2,000 of this project with the Greeley Red Eye Club supporting $1,000 and the Downtown Club supporting $1,000 and we would request $4000 from the district. At this time this would be a project for our entire club so 100% involvement from the Greeley After Hours Club. Addendum to Project Description (added after the project was signed) Due to changes with other Rotary clubs in Greeley to this project, this project is now one to provide blinds\shades for the New InSTEM building at the poudre Learning center. This is a project that will be for a total of $4000 at this time, and an additional $4000 for further shades to be purchased in the next 90 days. These shades will allow for both keeping the New building main areas cooler during the warmer months and for allowing usage of the screens installed for viewing during daylight hours.
