Project Description Country: USA Location: Brea, CA Total Budget: $17,500 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: Ultra Low Income Senior Apartment Building Central Courtyard Upgrade The residents of the BREAL Senior apartments currently do not use the central courtyard because it is unshaded, has no proper seating, and is dilapidated. This project will revitalize the courtyard with a shade structure, new seating, a new BBQ with countertop, new plants and trees, and new fountain. The project will be completed in the fiscal year 17/18. The project funds will be used to construct the new amenities in the courtyard and new plantings. Brea Rotarians will be volunteer labor in the construction process.
