Total Budget: $2,496 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Education: Scholarships Summary: Camp scholarships for the children of first responders and military personnel. Ocean Adventures in Oxnard, Ca. is the camp location. At the Ocean Adventures Camp peer interaction and counseling is provide the children of first responder and military personnel to help them understand what their parents do for a living and the stress they face on a daily basis in their chosen occupations. Ocean Adventures Camp offers a casual setting that allows the childern to relax and communicate with trained professionals. Camps are offered at multiple time during the summer months. TBD. Club members will offer 8 scholarships to qualified candidates. Club members will help solicit and interview candidates. We will help determine which candidates are qualified to attend.
