Project Description Country: El Salvador Location: El Tanque Total Budget: $30,000 Area of Focus: Water and sanitation Activity Type: Water: Supply/Access Summary: Downing Village of El Tanque, approximately 800 people, has no source of potable water. We will be drilling a well 130 meters down to tap into an aquifer. All plans are laid out, and drilling should begin this fall. Schuyler Co., MO Rotarian Linda Blessing is one of a missionary team that travels to location every February, and will be directly involved with the community and the El Salvador Rotary Club overseeing the project.
