Project Description Country: USA Location: Keller Total Budget: $4,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Scholarships Summary: 4 college scholarships for Keller ISD college bound seniors The Keller Rotary Club has awarded a $1,000 college scholarship to a deserving graduating senior at each of the 4 Keller ISD high schools ($4,000 in total annually) for many years, and will continue to do so for the 2017-2018 school year. The Club is requesting a matching district grant to help fund this continuing worthwhile project. The Keller Rotary Club works with the Keller ISD Educational Foundation to administer the application process and select the recipients. The winners will be selected in late spring and announced in May 2018. Scholarship funds are distributed to the recipients' college/university directly once the proper documentation has been submitted for payment. Note that we increased our scholarships this year to $6000.
