Summary: Build two houses east of Tijuana, Mexico for needy families ( usually single women with children)


Project Mercy is a 501(c) 3 California charity started 26 years ago by Paula Claussen.

Over the past 20 years the Encinitas Rotary club has built 18 houses for needed families in an area close to the USA border east of Tijuana. The Club provides the funds for materials to build a 12 x 24 house and then travels to the site and builds the house in less than a day.

The cost of each house is $3,500 for a total project cost of $7,000
