Project Description Country: USA Location: Rock Springs, Wyoming Total Budget: $1,425 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Centennial Grant - Provide dictionaries to 3rd grade students in Sweetwater County School Districts #1 & #2 CENTENNIAL GRANT Providing the Student Dictionary to these students will help their understanding of the material they read thereby making reading more enjoyable, and increasing literacy. Members of our Rotary club will distribute the books personally and individually to each student and the teacher of each class. Fundraisers are held each year to help fund this project. Teachers and administrators have encouraged us to continue with this important project.
