Project Description Country: USA Location: Powell, WY Total Budget: $1,500 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Renovate old Food Trailer obtained from disbanded Kiwanis club to use for fundraising efforts for community development. The needs are for fundraising and the food trailer will be filling in the spot previously held by the Kiwanis Club and used at community events. Once renovated and brought up to safety standards the Powell Rotary Club will attend these events and provide various food items for the public to purchase. "Powell Rotary serving you today to serve our community tomorrow" is the motto of the project. We plan to invest all profits in future community projects. We plan to be ready for the spring season. Club Members will be building shelving and counters, painting and cleaning inside and outside and redesigning the interior. Grant funds will be used as follows: Update all safety issues on trailer $600; $100 banner; Supplies for preparing and cooking food $600; $200 start up paper products (plates, silverware, paper towels).
