Project Description Country: USA Location: Oak Park, IL Total Budget: $2,000 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Meals and personal care products provided to women and familes seeking support for domestic violence abuse On a quarterly basis, the Club will provide and serve meals to the women and family members seeking counseling and support as survivors of abuse and domestic violence. The sessions are in the early evening and often they don't have time to get dinner for their family beforehand so we will provide a meal and pack up the left overs to take home. Many are in financial distress so we will also provide personal care products.
