Her Mother lives next door to the Early Childhood Center of the school district. The Rotary Club is planting 17 trees (one for each member of the club) at the Center. The family established a memorial fund to purchase a bench in Lily's memory amongst the trees that the Rotary Club of Morrill will plan on October 14, 2017.

The trees are being donated by the NRD/National Forestry Service. The District grant will be used to purchase Compost, Mulch, Tree rings, stakes, twine, plaques with the name of the tree, the date, and the Rotary Club of Morrill with the official Rotary Emblem, a park grade trash receptacle similar in style to the bench purchased by the families memorial fund.
