Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Puerto Penasco Total Budget: $500 Areas of Focus: Basic education and literacy, Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: Renovation Summary: Renovations at Casa Hogar and a nearby school Description and location of proposed project: • Painting at Casa Hogar—Home for the Elderly • Renovation of an area in a school to create new area for special needs students, including 3 spaces for one-on-one attention with hearing & language specialists, parents, psychologist • General school painting and cleanup • Planting of trees around perimeter of athletic field The project will benefit elderly residents, students, school personnel working with special needs students, Athletes, community members.
