Project Description Country: USA Location: Blackfoot, Idaho Total Budget: $2,100 Area of Focus: Economic and community development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Make improvements to Disc Golf Course located in city park by putting in tee boxes and goal baskets. The Blackfoot Rotary Club is facilitating the expansion of the local Disc Golf Course from a 9 hole to 18 hole course by purchasing the gravel and asphalt for the 9 tee boxes or launch pads and providing the labor from club members to put in the forms to hold the gravel and asphalt in place. The Disc Golf Course is located in a City of Blackfoot Park know as Jensen's Grove and is used frequently by the public as it has a green belt, a small lake, a sandy beach, play ground equipment, and the Disc Golf Course which will be a nice improvement and addition to this popular and well used city park within the city of Blackfoot. The Blackfoot Rotary Club will install some signage to document the Rotary Club's contribution to the expansion and improvement of the Disc Golf Course.
