Project Description Country: Mexico Location: Tehuacan Total Budget: $6,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Provide specialized equipment to help educate handicapped children A group of @ 50-70 handicapped children have been awarded a school to help with physical and education therapy. However, the school is new and does not have specialized equipment or resources needed for the therapy. Our goal is to partner with the Tehuacan Manantiales Club of Tehuacan to equip the school. The administration of the school has provided a comprehensive list and budget of their needs. We hope to start purchasing specialized therapy equipment & specialized tools before the beginning of the next school year (August 2018) & have the school fully equipped by early November. Members of the Loveland Rotary Club will visit Tehuacan for the purpose of participating in the classrooms with teachers and students and finalizing purchases and administration details of project.
