Project Description

Country: Honduras

Location: Various Cities

Total Budget: $4,000

Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy

Activity Type: Education: General

Summary: International Committee Members Traveling to Honduras to Investigate Potential Education Related Projects

There is a continuing need to improve the educational facilities for Honduras' children, which will aid in improving their basic education and well being. This trip is intended for us to investigate the existing situation in various locations, and then determine what can be done to improve those situations including helping build new, simple classroom facilities.

This grant will provide partial funding for an investigative trip in Rotary year 2018-19 by at least 3 Rotarians, which will be completed by March 2019. The remaining trip expenses will be paid by the travelers.
