The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a yearly flu vaccination as the first and most important step in protecting against flu and its potentially serious complications.
This project would provide flu vaccinations to all the youth of Campbell County, Wyoming.
The VIP (Vaccines for Influenza Prevention) will be asking for financial and in-kind contributions for this effort from a partnership of sources; Campbell County Government, Gillette Energy Rotary, Campbell County Public Health and Campbell County School District. The Mobile "Kids Clinic" Unit will be utilized to provide vaccination clinics at twenty-four (24) school sites over a two and a half week time period. Vaccinations will be provided for approximately 8700 youth. Rotary members from Gillette Energy Rotary will assist by helping students get to and from their appointments and helping with student registration and any other paperwork required
