Project Description Country: USA Location: Orange, CA Total Budget: $3,000 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Food/Agriculture: General Summary: Package 10,000+ meals for malnourished children throughout the world. Orange Plaza Rotary will work in partnership with the "Stop the Hunger" foundation to package 10,340+ meals containing nutritious, dehydrated meals of rice, soy, vegetables, flavorings and 21 essential vitamins and minerals. The meals are designed to meet the daily needs of children suffering from severe undernourishment. These meals are then easily transported to crisis-burdened areas or supplied to school feeding programs around the world.
