Summary: Provide eight manikin kits and four trainer kits to the Pleasantville, NY Volunteer Abulance Corps for CPR training
The Pleasantville Volunteer Ambulance Corps (PVAC) needs eight Prestan Collection manikin kits and four Prestan Professional AED Trainer Kits for a CPR training program. The entire community of Pleasantville will benefit because the PVAC will train Pleasantville Rotarians and members of the community how to perform CPR. This will lead to higher survival rates of victims suffering heart attacks, drowning, and other life threatening conditions that initially require CPR. The Rotary Club of Pleasantville would like to provide the kits, help get the message out to the community about the importance of knowing CPR, and also have members participate in the training. We would like to complete the project by December 1, 2018.
