Summary: The Rotary Club of San Diego-Paradise Valley Medical Mission is to provide drugs, medical supplies, minor surgeries, dental treatment, corrective eyeglasses and feeding program to 3 places in the Philippines.


The District Grant Funds will be used to purchase drugs, clinical supplies, corrective eyeglasses, reading glasses. These supplies will be taken by the Rotarian Medical Mission Team to the Philippines on January 28,2019. The Medical Mission is scheduled on January 28, 2019 to February 20, 2019.

The Rotary Club of San Diego-Paradise Valley medical mission team is to provide free medical care to the under served areas in the Philippines. The Club is aided by Philippine Rotary Clubs, volunteer doctors, dentists, surgeons and nurses from the Philippines and the United States.

The Medical Mission serves children and adults with free medical consultations, dental treatments, minor surgeries, feeding program, corrective eyeglasses and reading glasses, free vitamins and much needed medications for those who can not afford prescription drugs. The project will focus on educating the families/public about methods of disease prevention, health complications, proper nutrition, dental care and hygiene.

Goals: Distribution of drugs/medications, clinical supplies for surgeries dental care and treatment, feeding program, corrective eyeglasses to these sites identified in great need. San Fabian Pangasinan, Nabua Camarines Sur and Calapan, Mindoro. The local Rotary Clubs with the cooperation of the local Health Clinic and municipal officials will follow the need and the condition of the people served.
