Project Description Country: India Location: Bangalore Total Budget: $3,900 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Scholarship Summary: Scolarships for Universities for Economically Challenged Students to attend Colleges. The Rotary in Bangalore South wants to partner with the Del Mar Solana Beach Rotary to provide scholarships to 27 students attending various colleges in the Bangalore area. The Del Mar Solana Beach Rotary want to pay for 13 of these scholarships. The students that they are supporting are economically challenged and cannot afford to attend college. The Rotary will select the students from different colleges. They will invite application and select the students based on merit and means. Those selected will receive a $300 scholarship which will pay for one year of tuition to a college.
