Project Description Country: USA Location: Montpelier Total Budget: $850 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: Construct a shelter over benches at dog park A dog park at Adams Street Park, located in Montpelier, was installed by high school seniors a few years ago. Just a fenced area of grass with a water hydrant. Benches were provided for dog owners but no cover for hot sunny days or rainy days. The project would provide a concrete pad and roof/shelter. Anticipate construction in September 2020. Grant funds would be for concrete and building materials including a tin roof. The Club members would do all construction except for clearing the site for the concrete pad which will be done by the City of Montpelier.
