Project Description Country: USA Location: Western Springs Total Budget: $2,275 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Veterans and 1st Responders Thank You and Fund Drive This project has been funded for many years. Approximately 250 veterans and 1st responders attend a Steak Fry held in their honor. Also attended by community leaders, state congress leaders and neighboring Rotary clubs. Held every Friday at Noon after Labor Day. We promote, set up, cook, recognize, clean-up and celebrate our soldiers service.
