Summary: Dictionaries provided to schools for children in Nampa, Idaho


The needs we have identified is the education and literacy of young children. Our project will meet those needs by purchasing over 500 new dictionaries and giving them out to the children at seven elementary schools in our clubs area (Nampa, Idaho). The project funds will be used to purchase the new dictionaries. The club members will be involved by gathering together to distribute the dictionaries to the children in class. We plan on starting this project this year July 2020, and we will be finished this year by November 2020. The check should be made out to "Canyon County Sunrise Rotary club". The club address is: PO Box 315 Nampa, Idaho 83653.

It isn't clear in your application if you intend to do this project now or in the next school year. This grant cycle is for Rotary year 2020-21, and you cannot be reimbursed for expenses prior to approval of the grant, sometime in mid-July.
