Project Description Country: USA Location: Whittier Total Budget: $3,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Provide support for the Whittier Regional Symphony's Children's Concert which brings fourth and fifth grade students from lower income schools to a special concert for them. Music education has been severely curtailed in recent years. The Children's Concert provides a significant supplement to the schools' efforts. The concert will be held in January 2021. Our funds will be used for transportation from the schools to the concert venue. Rotary club members assist in the management on the day of the concert.
