Project Description Country: USA Location: Naperville, IL Total Budget: $500 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Books will be purchased from Bernie's Book Bank to distribute to underserved students in School Districts 203 and 204. RC of Naperville will purchase books from Bernie's Book Bank for distribution to underserved students in USD204 & USD203. RCs of Naperville Sunrise, Naperville Downtown and Naperville-After Dark are also participating in this grant, each applying for $500. If all are successful recipients, we will maximize the funds as a joint project & to distribute books to the children in a city wide Rotary effort, utilizing social media campaigns for exposure. We have a Donor who will match the grant funds, so if we are awarded a total of $2,000 grant funds among all four clubs' collaboration, that Donor's match will bring this project to $4,000.00, serving double the number of children with books.
