Project Description Country: USA Location: Canyon County Idaho Total Budget: $1,532 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Provide Dictionaries to selected Elementary Schools and Charter Schools - Canyon County Idaho This is Canyon County Sunrise Rotary's 15th year in providing Dictionaries to learning institutes that we have identified. Seven (7) schools third grade classes in the Canyon County Idaho will be supplied Dictionaries purchased from the Dictionary Project, Charleston SC. Funds will be used to purchase new updated books for approx 500 students. Club members will be involved in prepping books for dispersal and participating in distribution and classroom presentations. The project will start in July 2021 with contacting schools to arrive at a total book count. Books will be ordered in August or early September and anticipated project completion on or about November 1,2021. Grant check should be mailed to Canyon County Sunrise Rotary PO Box 315, Nampa ID.
