Project Description Country: USA Location: Kemmerer Total Budget: $7,600 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Construction/Renovation Summary: The South Lincoln Nursing Home Security Fence Project is indented to help the elderly in the local nursing home be able to go outside and get fresh air instead of being locked inside the nursing home. The South Lincoln Nursing Home Security Fence Project is needed to help the local nursing home residents with dementia finally be able to enjoy the outdoors, as it will provide a safe, outside place. This project is important to the mental health of these patients, giving them access to fresh air and sunshine. It will also allow visitors to sit outside with residents of the nursing home while there are still Covid restrictions. The ideal timeline for this project is to have it completed by June 30, 2021, in order for the residents to get to enjoy our short summers in Wyoming. This project will be a great opportunity for our Kemmerer Rotarians to get together and work on a project which has been limited this year due to Covid. The Rotarians will help build the fences, put in the flower beds, and work with the nursing home residents to plant the flowers.
