Project Description Country: USA Location: Naperville Total Budget: $1,290 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Peace: General Summary: Every year, our club provides gifts for underpriveleged children in our community in cooperation with the local school district. Our club will coordinate with Naperville School District 203 to provide some holiday cheer to kids identified by the district who might not otherwise receive gifts. Our members will donate gifts for elementary school kids and junior high school kids, valued at $50 each and will have the option to donate cash. We will obtain wish list from the district in early November, distribute this to our members, collect gifts and cash donations and deliver all donations to the school district on or before December 15, 2021. Due to the pandemic/lockdown, last year, we did cash donations only, but will do a combination of gifts and cash if this is feasible this year. Our club will contribute a minimum of $650 donated by our members.
