Summary: Grants to teachers for classroom innovative community focused projects


The idea for this project came out of collaborations with local educators expressing the need for special funding for creative and innovative projects. This grant will be used for teachers to apply for funding for classroom projects that will enhance the learning experience for students as well as promote community involvement in solving problems. Several classroom grants will be offered to students in grades 6-12. The application process will start in September and end in December. Club members will review applications and visit classrooms to observe the progress and final projects.

Hi Mia,

This is an urgent reminder that your final report is overdue and should be submitted immediately, along with proof of payment. The deadline was May 31, 2022. If the final report is not submitted by June 15, 2022, the club will be required to return the grant funds to the District for return to the Rotary Foundation.
