Project Description Country: USA Location: Eagle/Garden City ID Total Budget: $2,238 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Dictionary distribution to 3rd graders in 9 schools in our area Every year the Eagle/Garden City club hands out dictionaries to third graders in 9 of the elementary schools in our area. The dictionaries will be ordered by 8/21, labels will be created identifying our sponsors, our club, a place for the student's name, and the Rotary 4-way test. Club members will put the labels in the dictionaries and deliver them to the classrooms having the opportunity to explain some of the interesting contents of the dictionary and what Rotary is. Distribution will be completed by the middle of 10/21.
