Summary: Co-Host Wilmington Sharefest 2021 to help those in need with free food, clothes, children’s bicycles, school supplies, and smoke detectors.


On August 14, 2021 and in coordination with Sharefest of Will County, Midwest Food Bank, several area businesses, and 21 Rotary members and Interact, along with non-Rotary volunteers from local churches, Lions Club, PEO and other organizations, the Rotary will hold/co-host a one day event on Saturday, August 14, 2021, to distribute donated food, clothing, bicycles, school supplies and smoke detectors to those in need. This event is open not only to Wilmington residents, but also surrounding towns, anyone in need. During this event information for various social services and potential employers is also made available to attendees. 2019's event helped approximately 400 families in need. 500 families are expected to attend this year's event.
